Job summary

Active Assistance is recruiting a BSL Interpreter Level 3 to support a young boy who is deaf and autistic. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, approx 8am-4pm, with shifts planned in advance.

You will support communication at school and during travel, working with care staff to ensure effective communication for the client. Salary ranges from £20 to £26 per hour plus 14.07% holiday pay, with induction training and ongoing DBS processing.

Qualifications

• BSL Level 3 interpreting qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Support communication for the client during school and travel to/from school.
• Work alongside Support Workers and focus solely on communication.
