Job summary

Worth Recruiting - Property Industry Recruitment is seeking a skilled Block Manager to take responsibility for a portfolio of residential blocks in Bromley. You will build strong relationships with residents, leaseholders and contractors while coordinating day-to-day property management.

This permanent, full-time role covers compliance, service charges, budgets and health and safety, with scope for career progression within a specialist residential property management business.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Block Manager within residential property
• Strong knowledge of leasehold and block management
• Experience managing service charges and budgets
• Good understanding of property legislation and compliance requirements
• Experience dealing with contractors and maintenance issues
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple properties
• Professional, proactive and confident approach

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of residential blocks and leasehold properties
• Liaise with leaseholders, freeholders, RMCs and residents on property matters
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs and contractors across the portfolio
• Manage service charge budgets and expenditure in conjunction with the accounts team
• Ensure properties meet relevant health and safety and statutory compliance requirements
• Attend meetings, prepare reports and provide regular updates to clients
