Worth Recruiting - Property Industry Recruitment in Bromley seeks a Head of Block Management Accounts to lead the block management accounting function for a varied residential portfolio. This permanent, full-time role requires strong experience in block management accounts and team leadership.

The successful candidate will own financial processes, manage service charge budgets, and work closely with the wider property management team in an office-based setting in Bromley.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification essential.
• Significant property accounting experience within the residential sector.
• Strong knowledge of service charge and block management accounting.
• Proven experience overseeing service charge budgets and year-end accounts.
• Experience managing or mentoring an accounts team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the block management accounts function.
• Manage the preparation of service charge budgets, accounts and financial reports.
• Oversee reconciliations, expenditure, payments and financial controls across the portfolio.
• Review and monitor the accuracy of service charge and property accounting.
• Support property managers with complex financial queries and client reporting.
• Lead year-end accounting processes, audits and statutory reporting requirements.
