Job summary

Allianz Personal in the UK is seeking a Broker Risk Selection Manager to lead a team of underwriters and pricing analysts, driving profitable growth and strong broker outcomes.

You will own broker performance governance, deliver KPI improvements, and work cross-functionally with Portfolio Pricing, Commercial Trading, Distribution and Product Delivery to keep broker propositions competitive and sustainable, while mentoring talent and shaping pricing strategy.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing broker performance to targets in personal lines insurance.
• Strong pricing and underwriting knowledge, broker book management, risk selection.
• Experience leading technical teams including underwriters and pricing professionals.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret performance and market data.
• Strong stakeholder management across multiple functions.
• Ability to lead cross-functional broker projects from product delivery to data enrichment.
• Commercial awareness balancing growth, profitability and customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of underwriters and pricing analysts to deliver performance goals.
• Govern pricing actions and risk management to improve broker KPIs.
• Monitor motor portfolio performance and identify trends and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Pricing, Technical Pricing, Claims, Distribution and Product Delivery teams.
• Use internal and external data to support underwriting and pricing strategy.
• Provide coaching and technical leadership to develop underwriting and pricing capabilities.
