Ageas UK is seeking a Lead Pricing Analyst for the Broker Home Trading portfolio. You will turn pricing insights into commercial decisions that shape performance and growth, collaborating across Technical Pricing, Underwriting, Sales & Distribution, Finance and Data Science.

The role focuses on ownership of pricing strategies, forecasting and broker negotiations, with opportunities to mentor junior analysts in a hybrid UK setting.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in broker trading and portfolio management is essential.
• Significant pricing experience in General Insurance.
• Strong knowledge of Home Insurance.
• Experience coaching or mentoring analysts is required.
• Excellent analytical and statistical abilities.
• Experience interpreting conversion, retention and profitability performance.
• Strong commercial and market awareness.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient with Radar, SAS, Python or SQL.
• Experience using Power BI or Tableau.
• Degree or equivalent numerical discipline.

Aufgaben

• Own pricing and trading insight across the Home Broker portfolio.
• Monitor performance across brokers, channels and segments.
• Identify opportunities to grow profitably and improve trading performance.
• Recommend pricing changes to support GWP, conversion and profitability.
• Analyze quote, conversion, renewal and claims performance.
• Assess customer behaviour and price elasticity.
• Build forecasts and model impacts of pricing decisions.
• Develop broker-specific pricing strategies.
• Support broker negotiations with data and scenario modelling.
• Identify market trends, risks and opportunities.
• Present clear recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Lead pricing projects and workstreams.
• Coach Pricing Analysts and Senior Pricing Analysts.
