Job summary

STV Group in Glasgow is seeking a Scheduler for a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover, with hybrid working arrangements. The role involves planning TV schedules using dedicated systems, ensuring timetables and regulatory compliance, and delivering on deadlines.

Reporting to the Head of Scheduling & Planning, you will collaborate with ITV and internal teams to maintain accurate schedules and records while supporting the broadcasting operation during a maternity cover period.

Qualifications

• Experience in television scheduling and understanding of scheduling requirements.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with internal/external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and willingness to learn scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Strategic scheduling of all STV programmes, promotions and sponsorship.
• Compile and deliver transmission schedules meeting licence requirements.
• Maintain records and trackers for regional programme output.
• Analyse Ofcom minutage tracker and propose corrective actions.
• Produce weekly TV listings information to meet deadlines.
• Develop good working relationships with ITV scheduling/planning/presentation.
• Maintain workflows with other internal departments.
• Assist with other company tasks as required.
