BBC Extend in Glasgow is seeking a Production Management Assistant to provide day-to-day support across the News & Current Affairs department. The role is office-based in Pacific Quay, with some flexibility for hybrid working, handling travel, accommodation and logistics for production projects while supporting the Junior Production Manager.

You will use BBC systems to raise requisitions, manage cost logs, and support IT needs in the News department.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of BBC procedures, policies and multiplatform awareness.
• Experience of live TV Gallery and Studio environments.
• Strong IT Co-ordinator skills.
• Demonstrable experience in working in a fast-paced environment with excellent organisational, planning, interpersonal and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Book accommodation, transport and travel for all news production projects and deployments.
• Raise requisitions and payments via BBC Purchasing and Financial Systems; maintain cost logs.
• Provide IT coordination support for the News department and oversee newsroom software/hardware needs.
• Assist with studio support including autocue operation in TV galleries and support floor managers.
• Clear music/stills for content and complete paperwork via Albert, Silvermouse and Proteus.
• Support office management and assist with ad-hoc requests for production support.
