Job summary

Service Care Solutions are recruiting an experienced Practice Manager to join a GP Practice in Brighton on a permanent, full-time basis. You will oversee day-to-day operations and lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

The role requires strong leadership, understanding of GP practice operations, and knowledge of CQC standards. You will manage staffing, governance, budgets, and service development to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Practice Manager or senior management role within Primary Care.
• Strong understanding of GP Practice operations.
• Knowledge of CQC requirements and clinical governance.
• Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and lead a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the GP Practice.
• Leading, managing and supporting practice staff.
• Managing workforce planning, recruitment and staff development.
• Supporting the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care.
• Ensuring compliance with CQC requirements, policies and regulations.
• Supporting clinical governance, quality improvement and risk management.
• Managing practice finances, budgets and resources.
• Monitoring performance and supporting delivery against QOF and other primary care targets.
• Developing and maintaining effective practice policies and procedures.
• Working closely with GP Partners, clinicians and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Supporting the practice with service development and continuous improvement.
• Ensuring effective communication between staff, patients and external stakeholders.
