Job summary

Amey Consulting is seeking a Structures Engineer/Bridges Engineer to join our growing Consulting Structures Team in the North of England, with offices in Manchester, Sheffield, York and Newcastle. You will work with Senior Engineers on a range of structures schemes.

You will develop technically sound designs, calculations and drawings, and support junior staff with scheme delivery. A relevant degree and professional development toward ICE/IStructE are expected.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to produce engineering solutions that meet technical standards.
• Experience mentoring junior staff and delivering scheme deliverables.
• Knowledge of CDM and risk assessment in design and construction.

Responsibilities

• Produce technically sound engineering solutions for structures schemes.
• Take ownership of project delivery from start to finish.
• Prepare designs, calculations, drawings and deliverables to quality, cost and programme.
