Amey is hiring a Senior Engineer (Bridges) to join our Consulting Structures Team on a permanent hybrid basis with shared offices in Nottingham, Birmingham and Telford. You will lead and deliver bridge projects, manage a small team and work across bids and ongoing schemes within the National Highways framework.

The role requires experience in bridges/highways structures, ownership of deliverables, and strong knowledge of CDM and risk assessment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Bridges/Highways Structures in an engineer role.
• Ability to produce and check deliverables to standards.
• Strong knowledge of software tools such as LUSAS and Autodesk Structural Bridge Design.
• Knowledge of CDM and risk assessment.
• Chartered status desirable or equivalent professional qualification.

Responsabilités

• Lead a team to deliver technically sound engineering solutions.
• Own and drive projects from quotation to handover.
• Prepare and check designs, calculations, drawings and documentation.
• Oversee junior staff and develop their skills.
• Support bid preparation and work winning activities.
• Promote and enforce Health and Safety best practices.
