Job summary

Herefordshire Council is seeking a Highway Structures Inspector to join the Highways Maintenance Team in Hereford. The role focuses on maintaining and inspecting bridge and highway structures, identifying defects and ensuring safe, resilient assets for the community.

You will undertake general and principal inspections, record asset information in our Bridge Management System, and support maintenance projects with site supervision and technical advice.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting bridges and highway structures.
• Ability to record asset information in Bridge Management System.
• Knowledge of relevant standards and safety requirements.
