Job summary

Pave Recruit is seeking a Structure Inspector to conduct detailed bridge and highway inspections to ensure integrity and safety. You will document issues, ensure regulatory compliance, and support risk mitigation across critical infrastructure.

You will identify wear, monitor safety protocols, help plan works to minimize disruption, and prepare RAMS and site documentation while updating asset records and assisting with incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Strong communication to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of bridge/highway design principles and construction materials.
• Keen observational skills to identify wear, damage, or potential structural issues.
• Aptitude for diagnosing issues and proposing effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Principal, General and Special Inspections and prepare reports.
• Identify signs of wear, damage, and structural deficiencies.
• Monitor safety protocols and repair implementations to mitigate risks.
• Assist with programming of works to minimize network disruption.
• Prepare safe systems of work for site inspections and RAMS documents.
• Update asset management records.
• Attend or assist with network incidents as necessary.
