Amey is recruiting a permanent Engineer (Bridges) to join our Consulting Structures Team in a hybrid role with a shared Birmingham office. You will work with Senior Engineers on a range of bridges projects, mentor junior staff, and deliver designs, calculations and documentation to meet quality, cost and schedule targets.

We value sustainability, safety and collaboration, and support professional development toward Incorporated or Chartered status.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an appropriate subject or demonstrable equivalent.
• Evidence toward Incorporated or Chartered status with ICE or IStructE.
• Experience with sustainability practices in engineering.
• Strong project management skills for multi-discipline infra projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsabilidades

• Produce technically sound engineering solutions.
• Take ownership of the delivery of projects from start to finish.
• Prepare designs, calculations, drawings, and documentation for scheme deliverables.
• Support and guide junior staff on tasks and deliverables.
• Contribute to bids and work-winning activities.
• Drive Health and Safety practices within the team.
• Ensure sustainability considerations are incorporated into projects.
