Qualifications

Up to £17.50 per hour

An exciting full-time opportunity has become available in Newark to work for a well-established construction company who are looking for a Bricklayer.

THE ROLE

As a Bricklayer, you will be site based at various locations within the region and will have the following responsibilities:

  • Undertake the bricklaying tasks allocated, completing all tasks to a high standard.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of working locations, and security of tools and machinery.
  • Read and understand drawings to meet build requirements.
  • Administration of Rinodeck System – safe working platform.
THE CANDIDATE

The ideal Bricklayer will be able to manage their workload without close supervision, as well as:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in bricklaying.
  • Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Comfortable working at height.
  • Outstanding knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in bricklaying and the construction of buildings.
  • A strong knowledge and understanding of site Health & Safety.
  • Must hold a valid CSCS.
  • Due to the physical nature of this work a good degree of physical fitness is required.
