Job summary

Mason James Appointments (UK) Ltd is seeking a maintenance technician for high-speed brewing and packaging environments in the West of England. You will maintain, troubleshoot and optimise utilities equipment, focusing on reliability and safety across production lines.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 electrical qualification, time served, and strong fault-finding and PLC knowledge. A shift pattern of 2 days, 2 nights, and 4 days off applies, with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Time Served in relevant field.
• Experience in high-speed manufacturing or processing environments.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities.
• Knowledge of PLCs, motors, sensors, and control systems.
• Strong safety awareness and compliance with safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise brewing/ packaging /utilities equipment depending on recruiting department
• Troubleshoot and repair high-speed automated machinery
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance
• Work across utilities, refrigeration systems, compressors, and production lines
