Job summary

Mason James Appointments (UK) Ltd recruits for an electrical maintenance technician in Wales. The role focuses on maintaining and optimising brewing, packaging and utilities equipment, with emphasis on high-speed automated lines.

You will troubleshoot, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and drive improvements across utilities, refrigeration, compressors and production lines. Base salary around £53,928 with discretionary bonus and strong benefits.

Candidate Profile

Essential:

• Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

• Experience in high-speed manufacturing or processing environments
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities
• Knowledge of PLCs, motors, sensors, and control systems
• Strong safety awareness and compliance with safe working practices

Desirable:

• Multi-skilled (electrical and mechanical) experience
• Exposure to utilities, brewing, or liquid processing systems
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and instrumentation

4. Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: approx. 53,928 per annum
• Annual performance bonus: up to 2,500 (discretionary, one-off payment)
