Job summary

NHS Professionals is seeking a Breast Screening Coding Administration role at Wycombe Hospital. You will code radiology workload on the Soliton system and enter records into Careflow, maintaining high data accuracy and confidentiality.

Hours are 37.5 per week, Mon-Fri, 9:00am-5:00pm, Band 2 pay (£12.92/hr). Start ASAP for a 6-month duration; prior IT-system experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; data entry accuracy essential.
• Desirable knowledge of Soliton radiology system and Careflow.
• Respect for data protection and health and safety at work regulations.

Responsibilities

• Code workload on the Radiology information system (Soliton) onto Careflow.
• Register patients on IT systems and keep information up to date.
• Ensure data accuracy and timely input across Trust IT systems.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with Data Protection and Health & Safety at Work acts.

Payrate: Band 2, £12.92 per hour

Shift Patterns: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm (37.5 hours per week)

Duration: Start: ASAP End date: 6 Months

• Essential: Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Desirable: Knowledge of Soliton and Careflow

MAIN TASKS – PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To code the workload on the Radiology information system (Soliton) onto Careflow.
• To register patients onto IT system, updating information as necessary to maintain accurate records.
• To ensure all information is accurate and up to date.
• Undertake data input, accurately inputting data using a variety of trust IT systems in a timely way
• Maintain confidentiality at all times, Be aware and abide by the Data Protection and Health and Safety at Work Act.
• Ensure offices are kept within Health and Safety Regulations
• Any other duties as required
