Job summary

Stanley House Hotel & Spa is seeking a friendly Breakfast Food and Beverage Assistant to help deliver a great start to the day for guests at our 54-acre Ribble Valley property in Mellor, Lancashire.

In this guest-facing role you will support breakfast service, welcome guests and keep the breakfast area spotless, while upholding high standards of hospitality and food safety. This is a busy environment requiring a friendly, professional approach and reliable, punctual attendance.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality or customer service experience is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable and punctual approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and professional service throughout breakfast service.
• Welcome guests and create a positive start to their day.
• Prepare and maintain breakfast service areas to a high standard.
• Replenish food and beverage items throughout service.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently and professionally.
• Respond to guest enquiries and requests promptly.
• Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, presentation and food safety.
• Support the setup and close-down of breakfast service.
• Follow health and safety, food safety and company procedures at all times.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
