Job summary

Crerar Hotels is hiring a Breakfast Manager to lead the breakfast service across our hotels in Scotland and the Lake District. You will oversee the daily operations, ensuring top quality food, presentation, and guest experience, while coordinating staff and training across F&B teams.

The role requires strong leadership and communication, with a proactive approach to planning, cost control, and continuous service improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality is a plus.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to plan and coordinate breakfast service and staff

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily breakfast service and quality.
• Lead, motivate and manage breakfast team.
• Coordinate staffing, stock and costs for breakfast and terrace dining.
• Deliver team briefings and training in collaboration with F&B teams.
• Address guest feedback and drive continuous improvements.
• Uphold grooming and presentation standards; work weekends as needed.

With your strong operational and communication skills, you’ll coordinate staffing, manage stock and costs, deliver effective team briefings and training, and work closely with the wider Food & Beverage and hotel teams. You’ll also take ownership of guest feedback, operational challenges and continuous improvements, ensuring every service reflects the high standards and reputation of Crerar Hotels. You’ll work flexibly, including weekends, upholding high grooming and presentation standards while delivering outstanding hospitality.
