Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Breakfast cook for a 7am to 3pm shift to support our on-site culinary team. You will handle day-to-day food preparation, manage station duties for several dishes, and ensure timely delivery of quality meals while maintaining strict safety and hygiene standards.

You will work closely with senior chefs and the culinary team to sustain high-quality food and service throughout the shift, leveraging your Level 2 catering qualification and strong teamwork, time

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef in contract catering or similar.
• Level 2 in Catering and Hospitality or equivalent.
• Understand cooking methods and be able to multitask under pressure.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety, hygiene, and storage procedures.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day food preparation and duties assigned by senior chefs to meet the site’s standards and quality.
• Manage the cooking process at their station of several dishes, ensuring timely delivery of food.
• Follow and adhere to all safety, hygiene, and correct use of department utensils and equipment on site.
• Notify Senior Chefs of inventory when running low, ensuring kitchen remains stocked with fresh ingredients and catering necessities.
• Work with the culinary team to maintain high-quality food and service throughout the shift.
