Job summary

ARC is seeking a casual Breakfast Chef to prepare and serve the breakfast offer, ensuring high standards and a great guest experience. You will work predominantly breakfast service and may assist with other services during absences or holidays.

Role requires excellent customer service, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen. NVQ Level 3 and Food Safety certificates are preferred, and eligibility to work in the UK is essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in food preparation is preferred.
• Food Safety Certificate (or equivalent) is required or desirable.
• Experience in a branded hotel is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all food preparation meets standards.
• Maintain high levels of kitchen cleanliness.
• Attend Health and Safety Training as directed by Line Manager.
• Prepare and present high-quality food.
• Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues.
• Comply with security, fire regulations and all health and safety & food safety laws.
• Prevent cross-contamination; keep areas clean and tidy.
• Assist other departments and maintain good working relationships.
• Be environmentally aware.
