Job summary

Arena Racing Company in the United Kingdom is seeking a casual Breakfast Chef to work mainly during breakfast service, preparing and batch cooking to ensure an excellent guest experience for all guests. You will work independently, maintain high standards of food quality and safety, and adapt to occasional support for other services.

NVQ Level 3 in food preparation and a Food Safety Certificate are preferred.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in food preparation preferred.
• Food Safety Certificate (or equivalent) required.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all food preparation meets standards.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen.
• Attend Health and Safety Training as directed by Line Manager.
• Prepare and present high-quality food.
• Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues.
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and health, safety and food safety legislation.
• Keep working areas clean and tidy and prevent cross contamination.
• Assist other departments and maintain good working relationships.
• Be environmentally aware.
