Lighthouse Hotel Management is hiring a Breakfast Chef for a part-time role (18 hours per week) at the Courtyard by Marriott, Inverness. You will help run the breakfast buffet and maintain high standards of guest service in a fast-paced kitchen.

You will join a supportive team, receive on-the-job training, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience while ensuring hygiene and food safety compliance for all guests.

• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written; other languages are a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the breakfast buffet and fuel guests to start their day.

Breakfast Chef - part time 18 hours a week

We have a fantastic new vacancy for a part time Breakfast Chefto join our fantastic Kitchen team at the Courtyard by Marriott, Inverness.

As the Breakfast Chef, you will play a pivotal role inthe delivery of the breakfast buffet and fuelling our guests to take on the day ahead.

Dining Experience: You will be part of a team of passionate individuals who put their heart and soul into every dish that they create. Your can-do attitude and pride in making each guests experience magical with every bite, creates an atmosphere where our guests can’t help but return for more.

Collaboration: You will collaborate with various functions within the hotel, namely the food and beverage team, where your excellent team work and joint goal of obtaining maximum customer satisfaction will create an enchanted dining experience for each and every guest.

Problem Solving: With a keen eye for detail and exceptional problem-solving skills, you'll handle guest requests, meal modifications, complaints, and challenging situations with grace and efficiency. Your resourcefulness will turn obstacles into opportunities to showcase our commitment to guest satisfaction.

Kitchen Representation: Taking satisfaction in creating a clean, hygienic and compliant working environment you will actively lead by example to understand and implement all hotel procedures and standards. Supporting the team, you will give guidance regarding food handling, preparation and work stations ensuring compliance with all food and hygiene requirements.

Requirements

Prior experience in a similar role may be beneficial but not essential as full on the job training will be provided.
