Job summary

The Inn Collection Group is seeking a Breakfast Chef for The King’s Head Inn, Newton under Roseberry. You will lead your section with a focus on timely service, high standards, and fresh, well-presented dishes in a busy pub setting.

You will work as part of a close-knit kitchen and front-of-house team, upholding strict food hygiene and safety practices while delivering a warm, welcoming guest experience in a charming country pub environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role and commitment to fresh food environments.
• Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, safety and quality.
• Strong communication and teamwork with kitchen and front-of-house.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for your section before, during, and after service.

As Breakfast Chef, you’ll play a crucial role in our kitchen, ensuring presentation and attention to detail are key. A natural early riser, punctual and consistent, your experience in a similar role and commitment to fresh food environments will shine through as you take full responsibility for your section before, during, and after service. You will maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, safety, and quality, ensuring the appropriate storage, labelling, and dating of all food stock following company policy and legislation.
You’ll work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams, demonstrating strong communication, time-keeping, and organisational skills.
