Job summary

The Inn Collection Group is seeking a Breakfast Chef for The Stables at Whitby in Whitby, England. You will lead your section with a focus on presentation and fresh food, ensuring high standards across service.

We value punctuality, reliability and strong communication as you work with kitchen and front-of-house colleagues to maintain food hygiene and stock control in a fast-paced inn kitchen.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Breakfast Chef or similar role.
• Commitment to fresh food environments.
• Maintain highest standards of food hygiene, safety, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for your section before, during, and after service.
• Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Ensure appropriate storage, labelling, and dating of all food stock.

As Breakfast Chef, you’ll play a crucial role in our kitchen, ensuring presentation and attention to detail are key. A natural early riser, punctual and consistent, your experience in a similar role and commitment to fresh food environments will shine through as you take full responsibility for your section before, during, and after service. You will maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, safety, and quality, ensuring the appropriate storage, labelling, and dating of all food stock following company policy and legislation.

You’ll work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams, demonstrating strong communication, time-keeping, and organisational skills.
