Job summary

Fistral Beach Hotel in Newquay is seeking a dedicated breakfast chef to prepare and serve our acclaimed 5 star breakfasts. You will monitor quality across all production stages and supervise service to ensure impeccable presentation and consistency.

You will also help develop junior chefs, maintain strict labeling and temperature controls, and enjoy straight shifts with no late evenings in a fast-paced, adults-only setting with outstanding ocean views.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparing and serving our 5 star breakfasts
• Monitor and maintain consistent food standards & quality across all areas and during all stages of production.
• Supervise service ensuring presentation of food is compliant with breakfast standards.
• Compliance with food labelling and temperature controls.
• Purchase all food and food related products using company nominated suppliers to achieve food budgeted cost controls
• Ensuring minimum wastage within the kitchen.
• Help develop junior chefs
• Advantage of straight shifts, no late evenings
• Any other duties as required
