Job summary

Fistral Beach Hotel & Spa in Newquay is seeking a dedicated Breakfast Chef to prepare and serve our 5 star breakfasts, ensuring high standards across all stations.

You will monitor quality, supervise service, manage food costs, and mentor junior chefs while enjoying straight shifts with no late evenings, in a stunning adults-only sea view setting.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparing and serving our 5 star breakfasts
• Monitor and maintain consistent food standards & quality across all areas and during all stages of production.
• Supervise service ensuring presentation of food is compliant with breakfast standards.
• Compliance with food labelling and temperature controls.
• Purchase all food and food related products using company nominated suppliers to achieve food budgeted cost controls
• Ensuring minimum wastage within the kitchen.
• Help develop junior chefs
• Advantage of straight shifts, no late evenings
• Any other duties as required
