Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA is seeking a Breakfast Chef to join our Manchester team. You will prepare a range of breakfast dishes according to menu specifications and manage the breakfast buffet to a high standard.

You will assist with lunch/dinner prep, support conferences/events, and ensure cleanliness and food safety across kitchen areas. A passion for guest experience and adherence to brand standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef or similar in a hotel or restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of breakfast preparation techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow senior chefs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the breakfast buffet and replenish it as needed during service.
• Ensure all food is prepared and presented to a high standard.
• Assist with kitchen prep for lunch and dinner services.
• Support conferences or events with appropriate food preparation.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and prep areas.

A day in the life of…

We are seeking a Breakfast Chef to join our team and prepare a range of breakfast dishes according to menu specifications. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing the breakfast buffet, replenishing it as needed throughout breakfast service, and ensuring all food is prepared and served to a high standard of quality and presentation. The Breakfast Chef will also assist with preparing the kitchen for lunch and dinner service, as well as any conferences or events taking place within the hotel. It is essential that the candidate maintains cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and food preparation areas and adhere to all food safety and health and safety regulations.

What do we need from you?

• Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef or similar role in a hotel or restaurant setting with a strong knowledge of food preparation and breakfast cooking techniques, and a willingness to continually develop culinary skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions from senior chefs.
• A commitment to maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, including adherence to food safety regulations and proper use of kitchen equipment and cleaning products.
• Good communication skills, willingness to work as part of a team, and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required.
