Job summary

Team CV LTD in Feltham is recruiting a Branch Assistant to join our friendly, hardworking team. You will handle customer service at the trade counter, help with stock, processing orders, and ensure on-time deliveries from the branch.

A full UK driving licence is a requirement; forklift licence would be an advantage. Training and development are provided, with pension and life assurance benefits, and 33 days holiday including Bank Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Keeping up to date with company products, training, sales initiatives, and promotions to pass information to customers.
• Developing knowledge of product portfolio to advise customers on best options.
• Accurately processing/picking and packing orders for stock items for customer collection or delivery.
• Building excellent working relationships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers by phone, email or in person.
• Ensuring customer requests, orders and complaints are dealt with promptly and accurately to ensure satisfaction.
• Preparing the branch trade counter and customer area to stay stocked, clean and presentable.
• Serving customers at the trade counter in line with company standards.
• Raising sales quotations at competitive prices and following up to complete orders.
• Sourcing and ordering non-stocked items from other branches or Purchasing Department.
• Maintaining stock levels and participating in stock takes.
• Handling returned products including warranty claims and faulty parts.
• Keeping branch administration orderly and compliant with health and safety policies.
• Occasionally undertaking driver duties; a full UK driving licence is required.
• During driving duties ensure vehicle is safe and log trips; report defects.
