Plumb Centre in Ludlow is hiring a Branch Supervisor. The role covers daily branch operations, customer service at the trade counter, and local deliveries using a 3.5T van. You will supervise staff, train, and support the team while seeking to grow the customer base and improve profitability.

Based in Ludlow, the position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a salary of £28,500 plus bonus and benefits. Prior supervisory experience in a trade merchant environment is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence is essential.
• Previous supervisor experience in a face-to-face sales environment is essential.
• Willingness to run the branch in the Manager's absence.
• Team player with flexible responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Branch Manager with daily operations.
• Supervise and support colleagues, provide training and feedback.
• Serve customers on the trade counter with product knowledge.
• Develop customer base and improve retention and satisfaction.
• Identify ways to improve branch profitability.
• Build rapport with suppliers and manage stock/returns.
• Handle warehouse duties including goods in/out and picking/packing.
• Deliver to customers locally using a 3.5T van; comply with policies.
