Plumb Centre in Ludlow is seeking a Branch Supervisor to manage daily branch operations and lead a small team. You will supervise colleagues, assist the Branch Manager, and deliver excellent service at the trade counter while handling goods in/out and local deliveries.

We offer a 40-hour week, a generous benefits package, and opportunities to progress within the Wolseley Group. A full driving licence is essential and previous supervisory experience in a trade environment is preferred.

• Full Driving Licence is essential.
• Previous merchant/branch experience is preferable.
• Experience as a Supervisor in a face-to-face sales environment is essential.
• Willingness to step up when Branch Manager is absent.
• Comfortable making outbound sales calls to gain new business.
• Team player with a diverse role mindset to keep the branch running smoothly.
• Keenness to learn with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Mansioni

• Assist the Branch Manager with day-to-day running of the branch and take charge when absent.
• Supervise and support colleagues, provide guidance and feedback.
• Serve customers on the trade counter with advice and product knowledge.
• Develop the customer base, improve retention and product mix.
• Identify ways to improve profits and build rapport with suppliers.
• Handle goods in/out, picking and packing orders; manual handling of heavy stock.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Deliver local area orders with a 3.5T van.
