Job summary

Plumb Centre in Dundee is recruiting a Branch Manager to oversee daily branch operations, support staff, and engage with customers on the trade counter. You will build strong relationships with customers and suppliers while ensuring smooth sales processing and warehouse duties are executed efficiently.

The role is full-time, based in Dundee, with a 40-hour week (Monday to Friday). Previous branch management and P&L responsibility are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous industry or merchant experience preferred.
• Prior experience in managing a branch team.
• Previous responsibility of P&L within a branch environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing the day to day running and operations within the branch.
• Supporting branch staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Serving customers on the trade counter, offering advice and product knowledge.
• Building rapport with customers and suppliers, responding to queries and processing sales.
• General warehouse duties including goods in and out, picking and packing customer orders.
