JDP in Inverurie is seeking a motivated and commercially focused Branch Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day operation of our busy branch. You will lead the team, drive sales and profitability, ensure safe and efficient operations, and deliver exceptional customer experiences at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience managing or supervising within a trade, distribution, wholesale, or similar environment.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Experience in stock management, purchasing, and branch operations.
• Customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
• Commercial awareness to drive profitable growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the branch team, creating a positive, high-performing culture.
• Drive sales and profitability through effective branch management and customer engagement.
• Ensure consistently excellent customer service levels.
• Manage branch stock, purchasing, goods receiving, and stock control processes.
• Oversee resources to meet delivery deadlines and customer requirements.
• Maintain high health, safety, quality, and compliance standards.
• Control branch costs, including overtime and carriage expenditure.
• Develop and implement branch improvement plans to support growth.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, field sales, and support teams.
• Ensure company procedures and documentation are followed at all times.
