Job summary

Plumb Centre in Dundee, part of the Wolseley Group, is recruiting a Branch Manager to lead daily branch operations, support staff, and drive sales while maintaining excellent customer service.

You will manage a trade counter environment, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure efficient warehouse workflows. The role offers a competitive salary with bonus and benefits, working 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, in Dundee.

Qualifications

• Previous industry or merchant experience is preferable.
• Prior experience in managing a branch team.
• Previous responsibility of P&L within a branch environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing the day to day running and operations within the branch.
• Supporting branch staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Serving customers on the trade counter, offering advice and product knowledge.
• Building rapport with customers & suppliers, responding to queries and processing sales.
• General warehouse duties including goods in & out, picking and packing customer orders.

As a Branch Manager based in Dundee you’ll be responsible for:

• Managing the day to day running and operations within the branch
• Supporting branch staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Serving customers on the trade counter, offering advice and product knowledge.
• Building rapport with customers & suppliers, responding to any queries and processing sales.
• General warehouse duties including, goods in & out, picking and packing customer orders.

This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 08.00am - 5.00pm
