Job summary

Leeds Building Society in North Shields is seeking a friendly Customer Service Assistant to support branch customers with savings products and services. You will open savings accounts for fixed-term savers and handle follow-up calls and inquiries, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.

The role is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract with opportunities to develop in a people-focused, inclusive workplace. You will use Microsoft Office and in-house systems to perform daily admin tasks and deliver

Qualifications

• Experience delivering excellent customer service.
• Good numeracy to conduct cash transactions accurately.
• Ability to handle challenging customer situations with resilience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or in-house systems.

Responsibilities

• Open savings accounts for fixed-term savers and assist with branch products.
• Make follow-up and incoming calls to discuss products and services.
• Complete daily admin tasks: appointments, scanning, letters, and updating customer records.
