Skipton Building Society Group in Harrogate & Wetherby is seeking a Customer Consultant to welcome customers in-branch and over the phone, understand their needs, and guide them through our savings range with a friendly, professional approach.

This permanent role is 36 hours per week with a salary of £25,500 per annum, plus benefits including a discretionary bonus, generous leave, pension contributions, and health and other employee perks.

Qualifications

• Experience interacting with customers in-person or via phone.
• Ability to listen and understand customer needs to offer tailored solutions.
• Comfort with using internal systems to maintain records and handle sensitive data.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact in-branch or over the phone, creating a positive first impression.
• Engage customers to understand needs and offer tailored savings products and services.
• Listen and tailor solutions to individual circumstances for best outcomes.
• Proactively reach out to customers to discuss how we can support them.
• Maintain accurate customer records in internal systems with care for privacy and compliance.
• Adhere to company policies, standards and controls with training and coaching.
