Skipton Building Society is recruiting a Financial Consultant in our Skipton and Settle branches. This permanent, full-time role is a 36-hour week aligned to branch opening hours, with a focus on delivering great customer service.

You will run ‘My Review’ appointments to discuss customers’ financial goals, identify suitable products, and work with advisers. The position emphasizes relationship-building, outbound outreach, and accurate record-keeping in internal systems.

Qualifications

• Experience developing relationships with customers in service or sales.
• Experience in Financial Services is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and active listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ‘My Review’ appointments to discuss customers’ financial goals.
• Proactively identify opportunities and generate new leads.
• Make outbound calls to promote appointments and services.
• Support coaching and development of branch colleagues.
• Maintain accurate customer records in internal systems.
• Provide advice-led conversations and refer to advisers when needed.
