Job summary

LKQ Corporation in Leeds is seeking a Branch Assistant to join our busy branch, where deliveries, warehouse tasks and counter support come together to deliver outstanding customer service. You will help the team with stock handling, goods receiving, fleet checks and the use of ePOD technology, while providing a friendly, efficient service to customers across the trade counter.

No two days are the same in this hands-on role, and full training will be provided to help you become a valued

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a delivery driving, warehouse, logistics or branch support role.
• A full, clean UK driving licence.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• An understanding of safe working practices and Health & Safety.
• Basic IT skills and confidence using handheld devices or warehouse systems.
• A flexible, reliable and team-focused approach.
• Experience within the automotive, retail or logistics sector would be an advantage, as would knowledge of stock control, warehouse operations, vehicle compliance or ePOD technology—but these aren't essential, as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products safely, accurately and on time at customer sites and at the trade counter.
• Support warehouse operations including picking, packing, stock movements and dispatch activities.
• Assist with goods receiving, stock checks and stock takes to maintain accuracy.
• Look after fleet with daily vehicle safety checks and ensure vehicles are roadworthy and compliant.
• Use delivery technology, including ePOD systems and handheld devices, to log activity.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures in the branch, warehouse and during deliveries.
• Attend team briefings and collaborate with colleagues to meet targets.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and widen your multi-skilled capabilities.
