Gerald Summers Ltd at Southampton Regional Distribution Centre is seeking a Branch Assistant to support daily operations, assist customers at the Trade Counter, and ensure stock handling is accurate.

You will work across trade counter, warehouse and administrative activities, liaising with suppliers and internal teams to fulfil orders and maintain high service standards for customers.

Qualificações

• Experience in customer-facing role or trade counter
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to advise customers on products or develop product knowledge
• Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and stock handling
• Team player with proactive approach to work
• Good organisational skills and basic IT literacy

Responsabilidades

• Serve and interact with clients at the Trade Counter with professional service
• Advise customers on product selection, availability and specifications
• Process orders, quotations, returns, and enquiries accurately
• Support customers by telephone, email, and in person
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for collection, delivery, or dispatch
• Receive, check, and store incoming goods safely and accurately
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment across branch, counter and warehouse
• Assist branch sales by identifying customer needs and promoting products
