The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, reading technical drawings, and safe working practices. You will contribute to production quality, meet deadlines, and work with daytime shifts.

Qualifications

Duties

• Set up brake presses by selecting appropriate tooling and adjusting machine parameters based on detailed work instructions and technical drawings.
• Operate brake presses to bend, form, and shape sheet metal components with precision and consistency.
• Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Perform quality checks on finished parts, verifying dimensions and tolerances using basic math skills and measurement tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all safety protocols are followed during operation.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues or setup problems promptly to minimize downtime.
• Document production activities accurately and communicate any discrepancies or equipment concerns to supervisors.
