Job summary

Precision People is seeking an experienced Press Brake Setter/Operator in Loughborough LE11. This temp-to-perm role offers £15.00 per hour with premium overtime and an immediate start.

You will set up and operate a press brake, read detailed engineering drawings, and select tooling and machine settings. Join a busy engineering team with steady hours and a long-term opportunity.

Qualifications

• Experience in setting and operating a press brake.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
• Minimum 3+ years working with mid to heavy gauge mild steel.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a press brake machine.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine tooling and setup.
• Set tooling, dies, and machine settings.
• Select appropriate tooling and dies for each job.
• Measure and inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on the machine.
• Work within a busy engineering team.
