Specialist Group is looking for an experienced Brake Press Operative to join our Glass & Metal Team in the United Kingdom. The role involves setting up and operating brake press machines to produce high-quality sheet metal components. Candidates should possess strong fabrication knowledge and experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safety and quality in production. Attention to detail, technical drawing interpretation, and basic machine maintenance skills are essential. Previous experience with CNC machinery is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Experience operating press brakes and working with sheet metal fabrication.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring equipment.
• Experience with grinding, welding or other CNC machinery would be an advantage.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating brake press machines to bend and shape sheet metal components with precision. This role is vital in ensuring the production of high-quality fabricated parts, supporting our commitment to excellence in manufacturing processes. The ideal applicant will possess a strong understanding of fabrication techniques, mechanical knowledge, and experience working with sheet metal.
