Job summary

ATG Entertainment is seeking a Box Office Sales Advisor to deliver outstanding customer service, maximise ticket sales, and uphold the venue’s standards. You will interact with customers, agents and colleagues, processing bookings accurately using Audience View and promoting ATG products.

The ideal candidate is proactive, enjoys a fast-paced sales environment and has a passion for theatre. Previous Box Office experience is desirable but not essential, and a positive attitude is required.

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to act on your own initiative is important.
• A confident sales demeanour is expected.

Responsibilities

• Maximise show sales via counter sales, phone bookings and trade sales.
• Manage Box Office inbox and Access inbox, answer enquiries and direct to appropriate departments.
• Handle Group trade sales inbox and process group tickets per procedures.
• Work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Maintain good relations with producers, agents, internal customers and suppliers.
• Provide accurate sales/marketing reports on request and circulate results.
• Administer ticket agency processes in line with Company procedures.
• Collaborate with other Box Office staff to run an efficient operation.
• Oversee matinee/evening performances and manage ticket agent allocations and inventory.
