Job summary

BH Live is seeking an IT Analyst/Engineer to join the IT team at Bournemouth International Centre, with travel to other BH Live sites as required. The role covers on-site, central and remote IT support across venues.

You will provide Tier 2/3 support, solve complex tickets, and guide end users. 37 hours weekly, permanent contract in a dynamic charity and social enterprise.

Qualifications

• 2nd/3rd line IT support experience required.
• Experience configuring and supporting Windows Server and Windows 11.
• Experience managing AD/Entra ID (Azure AD) and hybrid identity.
• Day-to-day administration of Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Respond to urgent issues, provide workarounds, escalate when needed.
• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for escalated issues.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve complex faults.
• Offer technical guidance and support to end users.
• Maintain IT infrastructure onsite, remotely and centrally.
• Test, install, configure and upgrade systems, software and patches.

Job description

Post Title: IT Analyst/Engineer

Sites: Bournemouth International Centre, with travel to other BH Live sites as and when required.

Salary: £34,697 per annum

Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

The role:

BH Live is recruiting for an IT Analyst/Engineer to join our IT team based at our Head Office @ Bournemouth International Centre. Working as part of a team, the role will require on-site, central and remote delivery of IT support across our venues and sites.

As part of the escalation chain, you will act in a 2nd / 3rd line support capacity, providing a first-class customer service to our stakeholders and you be responsible for problem solving complex tickets and requests, that are unable to be resolved at Tier 1.

You will:

• Respond to urgent issues that may arise, finding workarounds and escalating incidents or requests to the IT Manager where required.
• Step in as Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for escalated technical issues.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve complex faults.
• Support end users by providing technical advice and guidance.
• Maintain and respond to IT infrastructure requirements by providing services onsite, remotely and centrally, including hardware, software, networks, servers and endpoints.
• Handle testing, installation, configuration and upgrades of systems, software and patches.

To be successful you will need:

• 2nd and 3rd Tier IT support experience.
• Configuration and support of Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft Windows 11 operating systems.
• Experience managing Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD), including hybrid identity, directory synchronisation, conditional access and policy management
• Day-to-day administration and optimisation of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams and Teams Telephony
