Job summary

HEINEKEN UK is seeking a Shift Leader for our Tadcaster bottling line to lead a safety-conscious shift team and ensure production plans are met. You will report to the Bottling Line Leader and foster professional growth while supporting peers to keep the site running smoothly.

You will work the Panama pattern—12-hour shifts with days and nights—driving TPM-based improvements and maintaining strong performance across the line.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced FMCG environment or on an automated packaging line within supply chain.
• Solid understanding of TPM with practical examples of its use to improve production.
• Proven track record leading teams with a supportive, engaging style.
• Strong commitment to health and safety with excellent attention to detail.
• Degree or diploma in packaging, food science or related mechanical/electrical/manufacturing subject is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead your shift team to work safely and deliver to plan.
• Report to the Bottling Line Leader and support colleagues on the production line.
• Work with peers to keep the site running well using TPM as a guiding framework.
• Base at the Tadcaster site and operate on the Panama 12-hour shift pattern.
• Drive KPI targets and maintain high operational performance.
• Promote training, development reviews and team capability.
