Job summary

Nuffield Health Highgate Hospital in London is seeking a Bookings Administrator to join the Enquiries/Admin team. You will manage clinic bookings, communicate with patients and consultants, and coordinate room and consultant availability to ensure clinics run smoothly.

The role requires strong IT, organisational and communication skills, with prior healthcare administration experience preferred. Full training on our bespoke system is provided.

Bookings Administrator

Nuffield Health Highgate Hospital | Highgate, London, N6 4AJ |Administration | Permanent | 37.5 hours

Our prestigious Highgate Hospital currently have an opportunity for a Bookings Administrator in our Enquiries/Admin department. To be successful in this role, you will have confident IT skills, strong organisation skills and will be capable of clinic planning, clinic changes and overall clinic management. You will have confident communication skills as you will work closely with our consultants to ensure their clinics are fully booked and run smoothly. When talking to patients you will be able to explain sensitive or complicated information clearly, sympathetically and in a way that is easy to understand. Ideally, you have experience of working in healthcare administration. Full training will be given with our bespoke computer system.

As our Bookings Administrator you will:

• Work closely with patients and consultants
• Assist with appointment bookings and changes
• Assist with the co-ordination of room /consultant availability

To succeed as a Bookings Administrator, you will :

• Champion the customer experience in the hospital and work with colleagues to deliver a strong customer focused mindset to bring the best of Nuffield Health to every customer
• Handle all enquires and queries raised efficiently and effectively, escalating appropriately where necessary
• Have excellent organisational and IT skills
• Be able to use your initiative and pay close attention to detail
