Job summary

Nuffield Health Highgate Hospital in London is seeking a Bank Ward Staff Nurse to join the ward team. You will work across a range of shifts on an ad-hoc basis, caring for patients recovering from a variety of elective procedures, with opportunities to develop clinical skills in a supportive environment.

The role requires NMC registration and substantive post-graduation ward experience. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of patient care and service

Qualifications

• Must be NMC registered and have substantive post-graduation experience in a hospital ward setting.
• Experience across elective procedures from orthopaedics to general surgery would be beneficial.
• Excellent communication and teamwork are essential for the role.

• Be flexible, motivated, an excellent communicator and team worker.
• Join a close-knit team headed by our matron on our consultant-led ward.
• Fully understand and pay close attention to each patient’s needs.
• Work directly with some of the best clinical talent around.
• Gain valuable experience of new practices, equipment and facilities.
• Collaborate with practitioners across other departments to ensure continuity in patient care.

You will be NMC registered and have substantive post-graduation experience in a hospital ward setting . You will work with patients recovering from a wide range of elective procedures –so no two days are the same. From orthopaedics to general surgery, this role will stretch and enhance your full clinical skill set.
