Job summary

Sytner Group offers a Trainee Service Advisor position at our BMW & MINI Stevenage Aftersales team. You’ll be the pivotal link between customers and the workshop, learning how to gauge service needs, book appointments and communicate clearly with confidence.

With full training and support, you’ll develop your knowledge of BMW and MINI products, build lasting relationships and grow within a leading automotive group that values people and service excellence.

Qualifications

• No previous motor trade experience required.
• Positive attitude and great communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and succeed.
• Friendly, organised and confident communicating with different people.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and understand their servicing and repair requirements.
• Keep customers informed throughout their vehicle's visit.
• Explain work clearly and professionally.
• Work closely with BMW and MINI Technicians, Parts and Service teams.
• Manage appointments and customer enquiries.
• Develop knowledge of BMW and MINI products and technology.
• Build lasting relationships with our customers.
• Help deliver high standards of service for BMW, MINI and Sytner.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Service Advisor to join our Aftersales team at Sytner BMW & MINI Stevenage.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and wants to build a long-term career with two of the world's most recognised automotive brands.

You don't need previous motor trade experience. We're looking for the right person - someone with a positive attitude, great communication skills, confidence dealing with customers and, above all, a genuine desire to learn and succeed.

About the role

As a Trainee Service Advisor, you'll be one of the key links between our customers and our workshop team. With full training and support from our experienced Aftersales team, you'll learn how to:

• Welcome customers and understand their servicing and repair requirements
• Keep customers informed throughout their vehicle's visit
• Explain work clearly and professionally
• Work closely with our BMW and MINI Technicians, Parts and Service teams
• Manage appointments and customer enquiries
• Develop your knowledge of BMW and MINI products and technology
