Job summary

Sytner BMW Newport is seeking a proactive Trainee Service Advisor/Bookings Advisor to join the team in Newport. You will support Service Advisors and deliver excellent customer care, handling bookings and coordinating with the workshop to ensure smooth service progression.

The role emphasizes a fast-paced, customer-first approach, with Saturday weekend duties and opportunities to grow within a leading automotive retailer.

Job description

An excellent opportunity has become available for a customer focused and efficient Trainee Service Advisor/Bookings Advisor at Sytner BMW Newport.

Alongside this, you will support our Service Advisors to provide outstanding customer care, completing a variety of tasks that will help ensure thorough preparation for each customer’s visit.

As part of the Service team, you will join the Saturday rota and take responsibility for a number of jobs on your rostered weekend, delivering face-to-face customer care and acting as the vital link between our customers and the workshop. You will keep customers informed throughout their vehicle service, answer any questions they may have and liaise closely with technicians and workshop control to monitor vehicle progress and ensure timely completion. You will be able to give clear and confident advice on our products and services.

This is a fast-paced role where customer care always comes first. You’ll take the time to build rapport, understand customer needs and deliver a professional and friendly experience at all times.
