Job summary

NHS Blood and Transplant is seeking individuals to join our Events team on a flexible, as-and-when basis to recruit blood donors at events across London and surrounding areas. You will be trained to perform blood typing tests at KYT events and support donor registration and appointment bookings.

We welcome applicants with customer service experience in any setting, including voluntary roles. A Standard DBS check is a mandatory requirement for this role, and travel up to 15 miles is expected on

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a customer service environment, including voluntary capacity.
• GCSE/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification is essential.

Responsibilities

• Register and book appointments for new blood donors at events.
• Set up and run Know Your Type (KYT) events and perform blood type testing.
• Travel up to 15 miles in and around London to support event delivery.
